Electrical System Synchrophasors
Improve situational awareness and asset utilization with IEEE C37.118 synchrophasor measurement. Aggregate synchrophasor information from across your system to understand system trends, make decisions based on state measurement rather than state estimation, and aid in post event analysis.
Refinery and Plant Remote I/O
Monitor sites far from the main plant when it is not feasible to extend wired plant networks. Examples include water intake and discharge sites, cooling towers, and loading and storage facilities.
SCADA
Gather information and perform control with remote sites via SEL-3031 Radios operating in mode. Or, in P2P mode, where one channel is used for teleprotection or distribution automation, use another channel as either a multidrop SCADA link conveyed by P2P links or as a backup path for SCADA if a primary SCADA connection is out of service.
Collocated Radios
Implement highly available active repeaters and multiple radio links at master sites via SEL Hop-Sync technology. When there are multiple radios at the same site, the transmission from one radio can easily overpower the weaker signals (from up to 20 miles away) that a nearby radio is trying to receive. By synchronizing collocated radios so that they all transmit at the same time, none of these collocated radios will transmit while any are receiving signals.
