The SEL-3355 requires device drivers and software to be installed on the operating system in order for the devices, such as Ethernet, video, and audio devices, and the system Watchdog to function. Products shipped from the factory with an operating system installed already include all necessary drivers and software. Use the downloads below when installing your own operating system or to update existing software and drivers on your SEL-3355. Please read the installation instructions and release notes that are included in each download prior to installation.

This patch disables link power management, a power conservation function that is known to cause reliability issues with some solid-state drives (SSDs). Link power management provides little power-saving benefit in SEL-3355 computing platforms, and disabling the function has no negative impact on SEL-3355 operation. This patch is only applicable to SEL-3355 computing platforms with Windows operating systems in which the Intel serial ATA (SATA) driver is installed.
These updates provide enhancements, bug fixes, and security updates to the firmware and BIOS embedded in the SEL-3355 system. Please read the installation instructions and release notes that are included in each download prior to installation.

Use SEL BaRT to quickly and easily create a complete drive backup to capture your computing platform’s operating system and applications. Backups can be used for disaster recovery or to deploy a configured image across many similar systems. SEL BaRT was designed specifically for SEL’s computing platform line to ensure ease of use and compatibility with each platform’s features, including the system watchdog which is responsible for monitoring system availability.
SEL BaRT is custom-developed by SEL using open-source technology to be fast, portable, and free of charge. Back up a system drive in as little as 15 minutes, then, when needed, you can restore the backup image in even less time. Easily install SEL BaRT onto a USB drive using the included make_bart Windows and Linux installation tools. See the included README.TXT file for installation instructions. The included application guide AG2012-05 (also available for download) provides detailed installation and usage instructions.
