David Costello is chief sales and services officer at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL), where he leads the company’s global sales and services organization, with a special focus on quality, service, and customer relationships.

Throughout his 22-year career at SEL, Costello has served in a variety of roles, including technical support director, national sales and customer service director, and most recently as the senior vice president of sales and customer service. He has authored numerous technical papers and application guides and is a senior member of the IEEE and a registered professional engineer in Texas and Michigan. He earned his bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University in 1991.
