Introducing the LINAM UGFI Underground Fault Indicator

Date held: Wednesday, December 18, 2024 · 11:00 a.m. (Pacific Time)
Duration: 1 hour with Q&A

Learn how the versatile new LINAM UGFI Underground Fault Indicator streamlines underground fault locating and reduces maintenance costs.

In this webinar, we’ll cover key features that include:

  • Battery-free operation—The LINAM UGFI harvests fault and load current to power its operation, greatly reducing maintenance time and ownership costs.
  • Adjacent-phase immunity—SEL technology actively rejects magnetic fields from adjacent cables, ensuring that the fault indicator correctly indicates whether a fault is on its phase.
  • Simplified inventory—Because the LINAM UGFI can power down to low load currents, offers switch-onto-fault capability, and features the self-adjusting AutoRANGER algorithm, one fault indicator model can be stocked for various applications.
  • Easy installation—The LINAM UGFI can be installed with a single hot stick and fits cables from 12.7 to 55.9 mm (0.5 to 2.2 in) in diameter.

In addition, application examples will cover testing and reset procedures, key settings, ordering options, and how the AutoRANGER 2.0 algorithm operates.

Attendees will receive 1 Professional Development Hour (PDH) for this webinar. To receive the PDH, attendees must attend at least 75 percent of the live webinar. Partial credit or adjusted PDHs will not be awarded.
