SEL Hosts Vaccine Clinic for Children Ages 5-11
Pullman, WA—In response to the Food and Drug Administration’s emergency authorization of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5–11 on Oct. 29 and updated recommendations by Centers for Disease Control (CDC) on Nov. 2, Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories will host two pediatric vaccination clinics for Whitman County children on Monday, Nov. 8, and Tuesday, Nov. 9, from 3–6 p.m. at the SEL Event Center at 1825 Schweitzer Dr, Pullman, Washington.
The clinics are offered in collaboration with Whitman County Public Health, Pullman Regional Hospital, Palouse Pediatrics, Palouse Medical and Sid’s Pharmacy and are by appointment only.
To schedule an appointment, visit www.selhealthclinic.com. Second dose booster shots will be automatically scheduled for Nov. 29 and 30 as part of the initial registration process.
Due to the specific pediatric dosage and anticipated number of appointments, these clinics are only open to the residents of Whitman County between the ages of 5 and 11. For questions about vaccinations or boosters for ages 12+, please visit the Whitman County Health Department website.

SEL hosts vaccine clinic for Whitman County residents ages 12+
Pullman, WA—In response to the Washington State Department of Health’s expanded COVID-19 vaccine eligibility, Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories will host a vaccine clinic for people ages 12 and up May 21, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.
The clinic, which will administer first doses of the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine, will be held at the SEL Event Center, 1825 Schweitzer Drive, Pullman, WA. It is open to people who live and work in Whitman County.
Appointments for the second dose will automatically be scheduled for the same time on Friday, June 11.
While appointments are suggested, the clinic will also have slots available for walk-ins. To schedule an appointment, visit www.selinc.com/vaccine.

Spaces available at vaccine clinics for residents of Whitman County
PULLMAN, WA—There are spaces available at two upcoming vaccine clinics for people who live or work in Whitman County.
Whitman County Health Department will host a drive-through vaccination clinic on SEL’s campus Thursday, April 22 at 2390 NE Hopkins Court from noon–4:00p.m. This clinic is in collaboration with the Washington National Guard. The drive-through clinic is open to people ages 18 and up.
Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories will host a vaccine clinic Saturday, April 24 at the SEL Event Center at 1825 Schweitzer Drive from 9:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. The clinic is open to people ages 16 and up.
Both clinics will administer first doses and have scheduled dates for second doses. While it is important for people to receive second doses, they do not need to receive them at the same location. This offers some flexibility to students who may receive their first dose in Pullman before they leave for the summer.

Upcoming vaccine clinic for residents of Idaho’s North Central Region
LEWISTON, Idaho—A large-scale COVID-19 vaccine clinic will be held Friday, April 16 at the Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories facility located at 2821 Juniper Drive, Lewiston, Idaho.
The clinic begins at 8:30 a.m. and is by appointment only.

Beginning April 5, 2021, vaccine eligibility extends to all Idahoans over age 16 and older.
SEL will host the clinic in collaboration with St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Valley Medical Center and the Public Health–Idaho North Central Health District.

SEL to host vaccine clinic for residents of Whitman County
Pullman, WA—Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories will host a COVID-19 vaccine clinic Monday, March 22, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. The clinic will be held at the SEL Event Center at 1825 Schweitzer Dr, Pullman, Washington.
The clinic is by appointment only. Those eligible to receive the vaccine can call 509-592-4784 to schedule an appointment.
Current eligibility includes:
- Residents over age 65, and all people over 50 who also live in a multigenerational household, in Whitman County (grandparents living with grandchildren).
- Pre-K educators, K-12 teachers, and licensed childcare workers for 1B Tier 1.
- Health care workers at risk for COVID-19 infection, first responders and people who live or work in long-term care facilities.
Eligible as of March 22:
- Workers in agriculture, fishing vessel crews, food processing, grocery stores, correctional facilities and public transit
- Pregnant or disabled individuals
SEL will host the clinic in collaboration with the Whitman County Health Department and Range Community Clinic, a nonprofit, community-based academic health network serving patients in rural and urban underserved communities.

LEWISTON, Idaho—Large-scale COVID-19 vaccine clinics will be held Friday, March 19 and Saturday, March 20 at the Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories facility located at 2821 Juniper Drive, Lewiston, Idaho.
The clinics are by appointment only. Residents of Nez Perce, Latah, Clearwater, Lewis and Idaho counties who are eligible to receive the vaccine can call 509-592-4784 to schedule an appointment.
Current eligibility includes:
- Healthcare workers
- Long-term care facility residents
- First responders
- Teachers
- Childcare workers
- People aged 65 or older counties.
Eligible as of March 15:
- Food, grocery, and agricultural workers
- Gas, electric, water, and telecommunications utility workers, who work indoors
- Manufacturing workers
- Public transit workers
- U.S. Postal Service workers
- Flight crews
- Idaho National Guard
- People 55-64 with at least one medical condition
