Learn how to test an ultra-high-speed relay’s protection and fault-locating functions without a physical test set simply by using transient records and the built-in event playback function available in the SEL-T400L Time-Domain Line Protection and the SEL-T401L Ultra-High-Speed Line Relay.

On April 14, 2021, SEL engineers will present a webinar to teach attendees about the event playback feature. They will explain how to convert and upload transient records—either captured in the field or created from simulation software—into the relay and how to configure and execute the playback test. They will also discuss the benefits of simplified testing using event playback. In addition, participants will see a demonstration of how to analyze and evaluate relay performance using this powerful tool.
