Webinar: Building better substation networks with SDN — field results

Webinar: Building better substation networks with SDN — field results

SEL software-defined networking (SDN) is delivering real-world benefits for operational technology (OT) networks, such as substation LANs. SEL SDN has been shown to strengthen cybersecurity, improve network performance for IEC 61850-based protection systems and streamline data collection for NERC CIP compliance audits.

On November 4 at 11:00 a.m. (Pacific Time), SEL engineers will share the results from utility deployments worldwide. Attendees will learn about how SEL SDN provides faster network failover times, improved traffic management for IEC 61850 and the elimination of traditional network vulnerabilities. The webinar will also cover the new SEL-2742S Software-Defined Network Switch and latest software improvements.
