Webinar: Securing Substation Network Ports and Services for NERC CIP Compliance

An SEL webinar on March 11 introduced new solutions to automate data collection for NERC CIP-007-6 R1 reporting. Documenting open ports and services on each IED involves labor-intensive data collection, and CIP-007-6 R1 compliance requires recertification every three years. The webinar covers two new solutions to streamline compliance reporting efforts. The first is the SEL Real-Time Automation Controller (RTAC) Audit Utility, and the second is the SEL Flow Auditor application for a software-defined networking (SDN) LAN. SEL Engineering Manager Darrin Kite and Application Engineer Lance Dice provided an overview of each solution, including architecture and resource requirements. Watch the webinar to learn more.
