Color Touchscreen Coming Soon to SEL Meter

Personnel who depend on accurate real-time power system condition information will soon have even more control at their fingertips with the SEL-735 Power Quality and Revenue Meter’s new color touchscreen display option. The capacitive 5-inch, 800 × 480 color touchscreen simplifies metering power, from commissioning through daily management, and it is available now for preorder. Making Metering Easy for Personnel
Like the SEL-700 Series Relay touchscreens, the display on the SEL 735 will provide real-time data visualization, an event log, and a settings interface, all with an easy-to-navigate menu structure. SEL-735 Meters with the touchscreen option will also include a standard USB-C front communications port, a real-time Wave View oscilloscope, and a test mode interface that simplifies meter testing.
The SEL-735 color touchscreen makes laptop-free meter commissioning simple. Power system personnel can immediately verify correct voltage and current wiring during commissioning with a real-time phasor view. This accelerates the commissioning process and identifies wiring errors before they become a problem. Personnel can also quickly read years of billing data, including energy consumption and peak demand that has been collected for easy end-user access. Touchscreen Package
The SEL-735 with color touchscreen is available in a package of standard features that includes advanced power quality and recording, copper 10/100BASE-T Ethernet, EIA-232 and EIA-485 serial ports, and the IEC 61850 communications protocol. Popular models that include an enterprise data collection and reporting software bundle are also available.
