They agreed and worked it into their procedures. Months later, the same customer called and said, ‘Your arc-flash logic saved a guy’s life today. And you know what? He’ll never know it. He just thinks the relay did its job. But if we didn’t have that arc flash prior and worked with you as a result, he would have been exposed to 10x or 20x the arc burn time and could have been severely burned or electrocuted.’ It was a casual conversation, where I told him we were here to help and make it easy but listening and understanding our customer needs ended up saving a guy’s life. That was a pretty proud moment.”
