Gather High-Accuracy Data

The SEL-FLT and SEL-FLR system provides load data that are accurate to 1 percent and reports the data as frequently as every five minutes, enabling you to make informed decisions in emergency switching situations and balance phases. When a fault occurs, the SEL-FLT wirelessly transmits a fault or outage status to an SEL-FLR. The SEL-FLR receives the fault and load status from several SEL-FLT transmitters located in its line of sight. DNP3 over IP output makes integration easy by connecting directly into your network and existing SCADA system or distribution management system (DMS).

Speed Up Deployment

The SEL-FLT is installed with a single hot stick and needs just 3.5 A of continuous line current to operate, enabling you to cover more of your distribution system and benefit from the reliability improvements that come with it. Our new enclosure option for the SEL-FLR makes pole-mount applications possible anywhere on your overhead system. Each enclosure includes built-in mounting brackets for easy installation, an uninterruptable power supply (UPS), and a backup battery.

The SEL-FLT and SEL-FLR system features 128-bit wireless encryption; device and message authentication; role-based user authentication; Syslog; and more to keep your power system data secure. Additionally, integrate an SEL-3061 Cellular Router into an SEL-FLR enclosure to securely transmit data back to your SCADA network.
