Cybersecurity is provided not only by devices and software, but by people. Use these resources and training aids—many of them free—to help everyone make cybersecurity best practices part of their daily routine.
We use the awareness and education materials provided here in our own manufacturing, engineering, and corporate facilities.
Free Cybersecurity Posters
Providing reminders of the importance of good cybersecurity practices is more than a good idea; it may also be a requirement. For instance, NERC CIP-004 requires certain utility providers to “establish, document, implement, and maintain a security awareness program,” and one of the regulation’s requirements suggests including posters that communicate a security message.
Hang these posters in your offices, substations, and control centers to deliver a short, actionable, visual message.
USB Warning Tags
USB drives and devices are so ubiquitous that we rarely think about them—which makes them attractive tools for attackers and thieves, who can use themagainst you.
Most security-aware organizations disable autorun features on computers and regularly scan USB devices for malware. An additional, highly effective defense is simply to control when and howthey’re used.
Use our USB warning tags as a reminder to use caution when plugging a USB device intothe system.
- Plug them into any standard USB Type A port.
- The tags are available in several languages.
- Custom text is available. Contact your SEL sales representative for more information.
