Blueframe Distribution Management System (DMS)
Blueframe DMS is a software solution that provides wide-area system control and management functionality while emphasizing simplicity, scalability, and security. The Blueframe DMS solution currently offers fault location, isolation, and service restoration (FLISR) functionality, and it will expand its capabilities over time. The FLISR app uses near-real-time field data and automatically isolates faults and restores load from adjacent sources, maximizing system margin and minimizing switching.
FLISR
The FLISR application contains the runtime algorithms and simulation capabilities that are provided by the Blueframe DMS solution. Feeder and substation canvases deployed from within Power System Model (PSM) are visible when FLISR is launched from the Blueframe portal. When you view a canvas through the FLISR application, the canvas is populated with DNP3 data incoming from field device connections, as well as status information from the FLISR algorithms. The feeder canvas is used to convey what data FLISR is receiving and what events it is processing in real time, all within a web browser. FLISR supports voltage and fault event reconfiguration to include loss of source and open phase.

PSM
PSM provides a graphical configuration environment for the Blueframe model and automation solutions, like FLISR. Model Data Import (MDI) is an additional application supplied with PSM that supports GIS model integration with *.json, *.geojson, and CIM (IEC 61970). PSM and MDI are designed to simplify and accelerate the creation of distribution models in the Blueframe DMS by creating substation and feeder models. Compatible with FLISR v2.1.0+.

Connection Services
