Wireless Connectivity to Remote Devices Using Cellular Networks—Provide wireless connectivity for a variety of critical infrastructure applications. The SEL-3061 provides remote access for devices using the public cellular radio network. It supports 4G LTE, 3G, and 2G cellular technologies and has been certified in the United States.

Distribution Automation—Communicate to voltage regulator controls, capacitor bank controls, meters, motorized switches, and recloser controls. The SEL-3061 can be used for low-speed control, engineering access, SCADA, and metering.

Substation Communications Link—Provide communication to substation facilities. The SEL-3061 is a cost-effective solution for connecting remote sites without the expense of running fiber-optic cabling or leasing lines.

Secure Communication Over Public Carrier Networks—Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of your data using comprehensive security methods that include Internet Protocol Security (IPsec) data encryption, secure VPN connections, a stateful packet inspection (SPI) firewall, MAC address filtering, and syslog. Manage user access using centralized authentication with Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) support.
