SEL expands eLearning portfolio with new protection course

SEL expands <span class="selism--nowrap"><span class="selism--lower-case">e</span>Learning</span> portfolio with new protection course

The COVID-19 pandemic has prompted SEL University to shift course design efforts to eLearning. Last week we expanded our eLearning portfolio to eleven courses with the release of ePROT 200: Applied Symmetrical Components, a 13-hour self-paced virtual course.

Symmetrical components knowledge is an essential tool to understanding faults in the power system and how digital protection algorithms work. In ePROT 200, students will learn the fundamentals of symmetrical components, be exposed to theoretical and real-world examples to help them gain experience with the method and apply that knowledge to analyzing and troubleshooting faults and problems on the power system.

Sharpen your knowledge of symmetrical components and earn 13 PDHs or 1.3 CEUs. Register today on the course webpage or by viewing the complete list of eLearning courses .
