Introducing Cybersecurity Lifecycle Services

With our new cybersecurity lifecycle services, we’re releasing three packages of retainer offerings that can complement security programs at any lifecycle stage. These offerings help fill gaps in security staffing by maintaining operational technology (OT) systems; monitoring logs, events, and alerts; offering proactive enhancements to security systems; and responding to incidents that do occur.

Customer Benefits:

  1. Staff augmentation and budgeting—With these services, organizations can supplement their workforce with experts in OT, with no need to source or train this additional staffing. If customers buy the cyber readiness and response contract, they establish a budget and staffing for dedicated efforts to improve their security posture, making it easier to prioritize among other operations needs.
  2. We apply broad industrial control system (ICS)/OT experience to customer systems—Our staff is experienced in supporting many companies across a wide variety of systems and can leverage the best practices we learn from them. And because we’re entering into contracts with our customers, we’re offering a dedicated partnership to become experts in and support our customers’ systems.
  3. Dedicated lifecycle support—Our services help companies advance their cybersecurity posture to the next stage: establishing OT system maintenance, improving asset visibility and threat detection, or maximizing their security with strategic planning.

Contract Offerings:

  1. Cyber Maintenance—Customers can complement their operations and maintenance programs with comprehensive network security maintenance. We will maintain their system, ensuring their devices are updated and their systems are optimized. Note that these services are only available for OT systems designed by SEL.
  2. Cyber Monitoring—Customers can improve their asset visibility and threat detection with monitoring support from SEL. With this offering, SEL takes the burden of monitoring the customer’s system, notifying the customer as appropriate. This service is available for any OT system, whether designed by SEL or another vendor.
  3. Cyber Readiness and Response—Customers can maximize their security posture with proactive planning and response capability. With this offering, SEL can be on call to identify the root cause for security incidents and help resecure the system, or we can be precontracted for proactive activities to improve a company’s cyber posture, or both. This service is available for any OT system, whether designed by SEL or another vendor.
