To support this growing industry request, SEL enhanced the SEL-735 to stream 3 kilosamples per second (ksps) sampled voltage and current signals into SEL-5703 Synchrowave Monitoring and SEL-5702 Synchrowave Operations software. The Synchrowave software will record, display, and trend these data plus provide access to the stored data (see the example diagram).

acSELerator Team SEL-5045 Software will proceed with a last-time buy (LTB) date of December 9, 2024. This exception will tentatively end in Q2 2025 when there is full compatibility between Blueframe Data Management and Automation (DMA) Meter Monitoring and SEL-5705 Synchrowave Reports. SEL will provide cybersecurity patches for existing Team systems as necessary for two years post Team LTB (until December 9, 2026). There will be no additional product functionality or feature updates released after the scheduled LTB date.

To help make the SEL-451 more adaptable to different applications, SEL recently released the new SEL-451-A firmware option.
