Stacey Doty, SPHR, is the chief people officer at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. (SEL), where she designs and directs initiatives and company policy focused on employee recruitment, development, and retention. She oversees multiple internal departments and facilities as they assist in these efforts, including benefits, compensation, human resource information systems (HRIS), hiring and recruiting, learning and development, the SEL family center, and environmental health and safety.
After graduating from the University of Idaho with a bachelor of arts in human resources management, Stacey joined SEL in 2002 as a human resources intern. She has since worked as an administrator, recruitment specialist, human resources generalist, human resources manager, director, and now chief people officer. In each role, she has striven to further define SEL culture, grow leaders, and build effective teams across the company's divisions.
Stacey is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
