Webinar: Overcoming Performance Degradation When Migrating Protection to Packet-Based Networks

For utilities faced with converging information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) networks, there are many challenges to consider. These challenges include performance for protection applications, security, demarcation of responsibilities and more.

On August 26, 2020, SEL engineers will present a webinar that describes how SEL ICON virtual synchronous networking (VSN) helps utilities address convergence challenges. They will offer a deep analysis of communications performance for demanding applications, such as line current differential protection. They’ll also share real-world results and best practices from three utilities that have implemented effective solutions.

Register now to learn how SEL technologies help solve the challenges of updating aging wide-area network infrastructure and migrating from time-division multiplexing (TDM) to packed-based network technology.
